 "VXCL" 2002 Hella Bi-Xenon projector with "Xenon" labled rings. Custom cover around "Xenon" rings (for cosmetic enhancment) Very tight fit.

 seefu, skafia and others E39 unit is too large, 1999-2001 Audi A4 or 1998-2002 Audi A6 projector units goes right in. Remove front glass by heating up as described on headlamp faq. Do not exeed 10 minutes. Cut off the old projector and use the old plate to mount the new one. A4 projector goes in with a couple of plates on the back to push the projector forward.

    		 DJ Inifinity G35 HID reflector low beam I cut out the back of the headlamp, just enough to set the G35 in there halfway secure.........then I used QuickSeal to seal up the back and cement it in place

    Used Extra set of OEM headlights     		The $6 aluminum 'bowls' were from the tire store, upstairs, in some box full of used hubcaps. I think they were made to be center caps that fit underneath wirewheel caps on biggersize rims. In the second picture, the caps are cut, trimmed and polished. How are you going to make the front cover Josh?

    (Used) Extra set of OEM headlights:  $100    		 First, I heated up my OEM housings and took them a apart. Second, I used a dremel to cut and enlarge the low beam whole, so that it would accommodate the projector.Third, I mounted a ring around the projector to keep the light from going everywhere in my reflector housing.Lastly, I sealed them back up with silicon and put them on and aimed them. Total of 6-10 hours job.

    		Before upgrading: 2000-2002 models came with leaky halogen headlights.

    Possible solutions:

  • Get the redesigned versions: P/N 2W4Z13008DC and 2W4Z13008DD
  • Open original versions and insert a new seal between front glass and the rest.

    Note that OEM HID is available for 2003+ models
